Each entry includes a brief description of the program and program category. • Management and Governance—Information about board and staff members is located in this section. What does the Check Marked icon mean?
The Check Marked icon indicates a nonprofit's portrait is complete and up-to-date according to PittsburghGives standards. Check marked portraits have been reviewed by foundation staff to insure the financial information is consistent with reporting documents (IRS Form 990 or audit) and that documents indicated as being available (for example, strategic plan) do exist.
Why can't I enter all of the fields?
Nonprofit users cannot enter: Grantee Address, EIN, EIN suffix, Year of Incorporation, CEO Compensation, Past Financial Information, Legacy ID or Foundation Staff Comments. The Pittsburgh Foundation must verify that information separately (via the organization's 990 or Charity Check) and enter it into the system. The nonprofit may simply continue filling in fields tab-by-tab and saving every 15 minutes. The Foundation will fill in the Foundation-verified fields before the portrait is made public.
